I remember how I’d love to play with dolls made of toothpicks and a bit of cloth. I’d join them together with rubber bands I’d get from that plastic jar near our TV set and play the whole afternoon while my parents were out. I’d imagine they lived in houses perched on our bookshelf with the English dictionary as their bed. Pieces like these make me feel like a child again - although I still am and will forever be one.
